resultsofhardneandwearresistanceofthecompositecoatingsshowthatthehardneofthecoatingsincreaseswithincreasingheattreatmenttemperature,anditreachespeakvalueat400oc.butitdecreaseswithincreasingheattreatmenttemperaturecontinually.besides,thehardneofthecoatingbyverticalhangingbetweencathodeandanodeismuchhigherthanthatofonebyparallelhangingbetweencathodeandanode.theabrasionrateofthecompositesishighestatas-deposited,whileitdecreaseswiththeriseoftemperature,itcutsdownlowestat400oc.buttheabrasionrateincreaseswithcontinuingraisingheattreatmenttemperature.thewearresistanceofthecoatingisraisedwithincreasingthephohoruscontentinthedeposit.thehardneandwearresistanceofthecompositeincreasewithexteionofheattreatedtimeat400oc,andtheyreachtheirpeakvaluesat3hoursreectively.however,thehardneandwearresistanceofthecoatingdecreasewiththeriseoftheheattreatedtime.thehardneandwearresistanceofthere-ni-w-p-siccompositecoatingincreasewiththeriseofsicandsodiumtungstateconcentratiointhebathreectively,whilethehardneandwearresistanceofthere-ni-w-p-siccoatingdecreasewithincreasingsodiumhypophohateconcentrationinthebath.
